Are m.a.c makeup products the only good makeup to use?

Because on youtube it's like the girls use only m.a.c. And also i was wondering are the makeup packs thats in wallmart--can it do the same as the mac makeupa nd still look as good as mac? also does anyone have any tutorials on youtube using REGULAR-NON BRAND makeup.Are m.a.c makeup products the only good makeup to use?
M.A.C. has good ';quality'; product. A lot of professionals use M.A.C but there are loads of inexpensive alternatives to makeup that work just as well if not better. NYX, Coastal Scents, MaryKay, Avon all are way cheaper and the color payoff for each is great. My fav drug store makeup brand is the L'Oreal H.I.P eyeshadow duo's. i've never used mac but there supposably really good. i've seen people on youtube use other brands but you can go out and find shades that are like the ones they use in the tutorials. like if they use mac green eyeshadow, then go out and find a green eyeshadow in a different brand that's a close match.
MAC is just for runway use.


I recommend Smashbox, Philosophy has some makeup, drugstore, Sephora, Urban Decay, Bare Essentials, and ones from Aerie and stuff.

No, some of the stuff is basically the same as make up you can find in a drugstore. I use Claire's eyeshadows and they're bright and stay on for a while Bonne Bell eyeliner is good too. There all decently priced, MAC has some good stuff, freaking expensive though.

Mac is no way the best make up. I've never heard of that %26amp; it's not even popular around here where I am....Probably they use MAC because it is sponsoring the ad..
From what i have seen, the only differences in mac cosmetics and local drug store cosmetics is mac tends to be a better quality,lasts longer throughout the day, and about a 20-30 dollar price tag lol
Perhaps they use mac because it has more pigment in it and shows up better on camera. If you know how to apply the make-up properly it is possible to make cheaper brands look as good.
no, they're just really pricey and heavily marketed. I've found plenty of good products.


Eyes lips face is one, Clinique another, and Voluminous mascara is the only kind i'll wear.

Uh, no. MAC is really good, but of course there are other awesome makeup brands. They just use MAC because they eyeshadows are pigmented, good quality, and they have good packaging.
